Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take health insurance?
We do not accept insurance at this time. If you have health insurance that covers chiropractic care, we are happy to provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt with insurance reimbursement codes) that you can submit to your insurance company. Depending on your policy, this may be applied toward your deductible or may qualify for partial reimbursement (not guaranteed). Coverage varies, so you should check with your insurance provider for out-of-network benefits.

Do you accept HSA/FSA cards?
We do accept Health Savings Account & Flexible Spending Account cards as payment for our services. We do recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm that our services qualify under your specific plan.

What should I wear to my visit?
Athletic clothes are always a good option. Whatever you’re comfortable in. Please make sure we can access the area of complaint, i.e. if the leg hurts, please wear shorts.

How long will my visit take?
For New Patients, expect to be there 45 minutes to 1 hour, give or take depending on complexity of case. For Existing Patients, typically about 20-30 minutes. Child visits & adjustments only are usually faster lasting about 15 minutes.

Will I receive treatment on the first visit?
In most instances, yes, you will be treated on the first visit. A full treatment including manual therapy, adjustment & exercises if needed. There are sometimes instances where we will need to rule out certain conditions before proceeding with treatment, this would be the only reason you wouldn’t be able to have a treatment on day 1.

Do you take x-rays?
We do not take x-rays in house. Most of the time, x-rays are not necessary before beginning care. If we determine that an x-ray or other imaging is necessary, we will refer you to an imaging center (which will most likely accept your insurance).

Do you only do adjustments?
No, we do much more than an adjustment. Most visits will include some sort of manual therapy or soft tissue work, an adjustment & exercises. Our other services include: acupuncture, dry needling, cryotherapy, compression therapy, e-stim, ultrasound, cervical decompression, active release therapy, myofascial release therapy, & Webster Technique. We can certainly do an adjustment only if that is what you desire.

Do you see people involved in car accidents?
Yes, we are capable of treating car accident patients under their PIP (car insurance) self-pay, or via LOP from a qualifying law firm. Please call the office to confirm that your car insurance/LOP will be accepted.
